Notes

Alberta's own energy figures on the markets board: Western Canadian Select, the Alberta gas price, oil and gas production, and active drilling rigs.

RECORDED 2026-10-12 (DECISIONS #41): the owner accepted recording the dashboard as open_licence, naming the Government of Alberta in the board's source line, and moving to the addresses the dashboard advertises — under 'API Keys' on each indicator page: /data?table=OilPrices&Type=WCS;WTI, NaturalGasPrices&Type=NatGas, OilProduction&Type=Total oil production, NaturalGasProduction&Type=Natural Gas. They answered without a key on 2026-10-11; the heading suggests keys may come. The active-rig count has no advertised address, so it is read from the tile its page draws (/api/tile-data/info/162), listed in `reads`. Before 2026-10-12 all five came from those tiles, found by watching the dashboard's single-page app, and no record covered them (the fetch ledger's first night). The production series come from the Alberta Energy Regulator (ST3) and the rig count is adapted from CAODC data; each footer disclaims endorsement, so nothing on the board implies it. robots.txt answers 404 on both hosts.
