Notes

Where Edmonton's tech and startup community actually keeps its calendar (owner, 2026-08-27: 'still no tech wednesday, still not TNT startup happy hour'). Tech Wednesdays' own Luma calendar carries the clean title and the venue that the Meetup cross-post drops; Startup TNT publishes nowhere else (their Squarespace events collection returns itemCount 0).

The cal- id cannot be derived from the slug — it lives in the page's Next.js payload — so calendars are a hand-kept table (the SHOWPASS_VENUES pattern). lu.ma 301s to luma.com. Luma writes a full postal address in LOCATION; the room is the head of it. OVERLAP: Edmonton Unlimited is also read through Meetup, and the two copies of one event do NOT share Event.key (Meetup's has no venue) — the cross-source dedup in upcoming() is what keeps them from double-listing.
